THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Please refer to the following for information regarding the admission process. Once your son's admission file is complete, the Admissions Office will schedule an interview and an admissions assessment.
The admission process to the Bishop Walker School consists of 4 steps.
1. We will begin accepting applications on October 1, 2020. Please note that the applications submitted before January 7, 2021 have priority. Please click HERE to submit an application. To submit an application after January 7, 2021, you must also complete a wait-list form.
2. Submit a TANF statement or a copy of last year’s tax returns. If an applicant resides with both parents or receives financial support from a non-custodial parent, both parents/guardians must submit financial documents.
3. Provide the Confidential Teacher Recommendation Form and the Transcript Release Form to applicant’s current school. All school records and teacher recommendations must be submitted by the applicant's current school and teacher.
4. Once your son's admission application is complete, The Admissions Office will contact you about scheduling a admissions assessment.
Only completed applications will be considered for admission . The Admissions Committee carefully considers the potential for each applicant to thrive academically, socially and emotionally at BWS. Families will be notified of the school's decisions in writing.
Applicants applying Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1, 2021.
